I have been a good business owner all year long. I have worked long, hard days, some weekends and holidays, and maybe even worked while I slept. For that alone, I think I deserve to be on Santa’s “good” list!
It hasn’t been an easy year with the mask restrictions, vaccinations, employees getting sick, shutdowns, mandates, not being able to find staff, staff quitting, suppliers not being able to deliver products, rising prices, rising labor costs, AND customers who don’t understand what we are going through to stay in business.
But I haven’t complained, and I have done a good job taking care of my employees and providing great products and a WOW experience for my customers each day despite the challenges I face to keep my doors open. I love what I do, and I will fight for my family, my staff, and my customers to be better and stronger in 2022.
I reward my best guests with gifts and surprises throughout the year. I’m not boring, and my business and my marketing aren’t boring either.
I create my marketing calendar each year far in advance and don’t engage in “panic marketing.” I make sure it goes out on time.
I care deeply about my community and my staff and make an effort to support the local charities every chance I get. I take care of my staff by listening to them, caring for them, and trying to help them grow each day to enrich their lives in a positive way.
For these reasons, I deserve to be on the nice list this year.
